Gorillaz Are Back with Stylo, off Their 3rd Studio Album, Plastic Beach
The well-liked virtual band, Gorillaz are back with Stylo, off their 3rd studio album, Plastic Beach. The tune has been represented as dark and twisted, and we have 2 different versions for you to test out.The first one features a well-liked rapper named Tinie Tampah from South London, while the second highlight’s Long Island’s own Mos Def. Listen to both versions below the 1st is the Labrinth Remix and it has got a decent techno beat to it, while the second version involves respected MC Mos Def alongside soul legend Bobby Womack. It’s definitely more Oldschool hiphop and it brings the back the 1980’s vibe. It’s basically my favourite between the 2. The new Gorillaz album will be released on March 9th in the U.S and will include a various group of artists from Snoop Dogg and De La Soul to The Lebanese Nationwide Orchestra for Oriental Arabic Music. Sounds like an engaging bunch. From the various featured artists to the different variants of the 1st single, if anything, this album will have something for everybody.
An original Jamie Hewlett picture marking Lou Reed’s collusion with Gorillaz has leaked on the web.
Though the cartoon version of The Velvet Underground man, pictured, wasn’t authorised by the vocalist, NME.COM understands it’s the artist’s take on how Reed would fit into the group’s world. Reed features on ‘Some sort of Nature’ on the band’s 3rd album ‘Plastic Beach’, which is released on March 8. The image at first leaked on unlicensed fan site Gorillaz-unofficial.com. Meanwhile, the band’s ‘frontman’ Murdoc latterly hijacked NME Radio with his very own pirate show. Now, the cartoon face is promising to do it again and next time preview tracks from ‘Plastic Beach’.
