The Best Restaurant in Riverside, Bar None
The city of Riverside is home to many eateries and fine dining spots but there’s only one that stands atop all the others in the area. That restaurant is called Mario’s Place and it’s located across the street from the historic Mission Inn. What makes Mario’s so good you ask? Well it’s the food of course. But not only the food, as the atmosphere and service is also beyond reproach. Having tasted many of the items on the menu, all of which were simply amazing, I’d have to say that the Tortellini dish is some of the finest food I’ve had in my mouth.
Mario’s is one of the most recognizable restaurants in the Riverside area and its food is regarded very highly among local and national food critics. The average price per plate is probably a little higher than the standard Olive Garden or Coco’s, with the medium price for a plate of food around $17, but it’s totally worth it. It’s the kind of place that you go for special dates or especially on a second or third date, to really impress them. Although, I’d still have them pay for their own meal. In any case, Mario’s is a special plate to eat and anyone who knows will tell you, every dish is worth the price.
Mario’s Place recently updated their website and as the standard for many in Riverside, web design is often overlooked. Their new look is ok, but it’s too bad that their menu has to be downloaded from a PDF file. Pretty cumbersome if you ask me. But at least it looks better than it did before. Maybe next time they’ll spend the money on a website that can better sell their tasty services to a wider audience.
